"State Construction Company" LTD carried out restoration works of a road section on Rikoti pass which was damaged by floods in July, 2011. Cleansing works were conducted on 4 sections of the highway (147km+620, 147km+990, 148km+305, 150km+730). Wrecked section of the road was filled with sand gravel mix. A gabion, lower retaining walls and road covering were set up there in addition. Reinforced-concrete water drainage pipes were installed on two places of the road. To enhance safety, parapets were placed along the road; Road signs were set up and road surface was marked with white thermoplastic paint.
