Project: Commissioned by Tbilisi City Hall, the "State Construction Company", Ltd. rehabilitated Ghoghoberidze street in Upper Ponichala.

Within the framework of the project, the damaged layer of asphalt on a 440-meter-long street was raked and the damaged soil removed; sand-gravel mixture and fractured pebbles were used to create a foundation for the road; two layers of asphalt concrete were laid; in order to protect the foundation of the road, concrete cuvettes were built in on its sides; sidewalks and driveways to the yards were arranged.

Rehabilitation of Ghoghoberidze street commenced in February, 2016 and was completed in May, the same year.

Financing: "State Construction Company", Ltd. carried out the civil works on Ghoghoberidze street as well as fundamental repairs on Agladze street, construction of the road connecting Sameba with the temples currently under construction on Makhata mountain, and reconstruction of one of the roads leading to Tsavkisi, based on the procurement bid announced by Tbilisi City Hall. The total procurement value amounts to 5,049,999 GEL.

Employment Status: There were 30 people employed.

Outcome: Travelling on Ghoghoberidze street became ever so safe and comfortable, both for pedestrians, as well as for drivers.
