Culverts are being Installed in Dariali

Within the framework of disaster aftermath liquidation efforts, on the km134-km135 section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international motor road in Dariali, "State Construction Company", Ltd. is implementing the installation works of culverts.

"State Construction Company", Ltd. is undertaking disaster aftermath liquidation efforts in Dariali as commissioned by the Roads Department under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. All necessary machinery and specialists are working on the affected area. As a result of already conducted work, Terek river has been returned to its natural river-bed and road reconstruction has commenced in the ravine.

On the 23rd of June, disaster occurred on the km134-km135 section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international motor road when as a result of heavy and incessant rain, large amount of mud-slide descended from Devdoraki ravine. It resulted in throwing the river Terek out of its natural river-bed and flooding of the adjacent territory, damaging an 800-meter-long section of the road.
