Road is open in Dariali. Traffic movement has resumed on Larsi border crossing. A number of vehicles have already crossed the check-point. Prime Minister of Georgia, representatives of Georgian government and the leadership of "State Construction Company" Ltd who had been working on natural disaster relief attended the road opening.

Despite the fact that landslide recurred on Dariali pass and Terek rise damaged previously cleansed road section again at dawn, as a result of machinery mobilization and disaster relief works, road was opened nevertheless. 

The recurring natural disaster complicated the situation to the North of the check-point, i.e. neutral zone, where overflowing river carried sediment to the road section. In an attempt to redirect Terek to its natural flow, cleansing works are ongoing on the site at the moment.

On request of Georgian government, "State Construction Company" Ltd had been conducting landslide cleansing works for 10 days.
