Village Tskluleti road has been cleared

Access road to lower Tskluleti in Tetritskaro municipality and inner road of the village have been cleared. Traffic movement is free both for vehicles and pedestrians. Clearing works have been carried out by State Construction Company Ltd of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

12 km long Tskluleti road turned impassable on June 21 as a result of heavy rainfall. Road surface and drainage were damaged, however cleansing works were launched the same day. Channels were made near the road which made water diversion possible. The road and culverts filled with sediment were cleared and some pipes were placed in the ground anew.

As a result of cleaning works the car which was swept away from church territory was also rescued. Simultaneously, water supply recovery and clearing works of the road which was damaged due to heavy rainfall last week were carried out.

At the moment traffic movement to and within the village roads are fully recovered.
