Construction of two-star FIFA standard stadium with artificial turf cover is ongoing without interruption in Tskaltubo. The construction is conducted by "State Construction Company" Ltd of the Ministry of Regional development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

At this stage, changing room, a café, a reservoir and a power transformer room are built. This part of the project entails facing and painting works of buildings.

Ground works were also carried out on stadium territory: 600 square meter gravel was contracted, drainage was placed and insulated, foundation was made for reinforced concrete carcass; lighting poles and anchors were installed. Works of artificial turf and accessory arrangement have remained for the moment.

At the same time 800 cubic meter soil is being compacted on the parking lot territory.

Construction of the stadium started in December 2014 and is planned to be finished by the end of ongoing year. The project entails artificial turf coverage on 7280 cubic meter territory and parking lot arrangement of 7960 cubic meter.

Construction of the stadium is financed from state and municipal budgets and is estimated at 2 mln GEL. 34 workers are employed on the construction.

New, two-star FIFA standard stadium will improve city infrastructure considerably and support football development in Tskaltubo.
